Through our school blog, we provide a wealth of information to parents. We want the website to reflect the children in our school and using the ‘password protect’ option, we include photographs of the children at work and play. We are very aware of the safety issues that are connected to the use of photographs and follow guidelines based on good practice adhering to the following policy:
- children’s names are not published;
- children will only be shown in photos where they are suitably dressed;
- personal details of children, staff and governors, such as home addresses, telephone numbers, personal e-mail addresses, etc, will not be released via the website.
Please be aware that photos are only to be shared between our school community and should not be uploaded on social media sites such as Facebook. Unfortunately, we will not be able to share photos should this occur.
If you would like the password to access the photos, please contact the school office.
If you do not wish your child to appear in photographs on the school blog, please complete the form which is being sent as part of today’s newsletter and return to school by Friday 24th April.
Please do not hesitate in contacting the school should you have any questions or concerns.
