Over the last two weeks, specialist teachers have been working with Purple Class on the Patagonia Animation project. Jeremey Roberts, storyboard artist and Matt Beare, film literacy specialist, have been helping the children to explore the sequence of events that took place when the Welsh settlers arrived in Patagonia. Pupils learnt about the purpose of a storyboard and created their own. Storyboards included the Welsh settlers making and trading bread and when the Tehuelche taught the Welsh to hunt. In the next session, children are planning to write a script for their storyboards. Following this, the next phase of the project will be to begin the process of creating the animation.
