Last week we participated in our second walk to school week of the year. We tracked our results using Sustrans ‘Big shift’ website. We started the week with 44% of children actively travelling to school and by the end of the week we had an average of 60% of children actively travelling to school. This means we achieved our ‘Small Step Target’ of 55%. It was also a very close competition between the classes and all classes beat their scores from the last walk to school week. The overall winning class was red class with 176 walks to and from school and they have been awarded with the ‘Golden Boot Trophy’. Thank you for all your support last week, we are very proud of our achievements. Hopefully we can continue to improve our scores in the summer term.
