Spring Fair

Thank you to everyone who supported the Summer Fair last week. The fair was a huge success and we are pleased to announce £750 was raised from the event. Thank you so much to the PTA members and Miss Storey who work so hard in organising such fantastic events throughout the school year. The money raised will be spent on the Bedwas pupils.

Spring Fair

Weather permitting; we will hold our annual Spring Fair on Friday 9th June at 3:10 p.m. on our playground. To ensure that all children are collected at the end of the day we ask that once pupils have been collected that parents/carers walk around to the back of the school and queue up at the back gate. Once all children have left the premises the gates will reopen. This is the safest way of us ensuring all children have left the school premises at the end of the day. Thank you to the PTA Committee, Miss Storey and Miss Hillier who have all worked tirelessly to plan for the event.

PTA Slumber Night – PG Rated Film

The PTA are organising a slumber night straight after school on Friday 28th April where the children will watch the PG rated film, Moana. To view the reason for classification please visit:

http://www.bbfc.co.uk/releases/moana-2016

If you do not wish for your child to view this film then please contact the school.

As always, children are welcome to bring their pyjamas along with their favourite blanket and pillow into school on Thursday morning to save going home after school. They can then get changed in school and settle in the hall to watch the film. Tickets cost £3.00 and this will include hot dogs and drinks. Children are to be collected from school at 5.30pm.

Each class has been recently been given £100 from the PTA to put towards new golden time equipment, which all children will no doubt enjoy using each week.
