Caerphilly County Borough Council Policy:-
Please note that School Dinners should be paid for before they are taken.
In accordance with the Council’s policy, MEALS WILL BE STOPPED once the total amount of debt exceeds two weeks and you will need to collect your child at lunchtime or send in a packed lunch. If your circumstances have changed and you feel that you may be eligible for free school meals, please contact the school office for an application form or apply at www.caerphilly.gov.uk/freeschoolmeals
It has been agreed by the Council that the cost of primary school meals will increase to £2.10 from 1st April 2019.
As part of our ‘Active Journeys’ programme, we have decided to take part in the ‘Sustrans Big Pedal’ initiative again this year. This encourages the children to actively travel to school either by walking, cycling or scooting. Over the next two weeks we will counting how many walks, cycles and scoots each class achieves and comparing them to other schools taking part in the area. We hope all children will participate where possible and support their classes.
Raffle tickets were sent home with the children last week and unfortunately they stated Summer Fair and not Easter Raffle. Could you please help us by selling these, at the cost of £1.00 per sheet? Please write your name and number on each individual ticket. Tickets and money to be returned by Monday 8th April. The raffle will be drawn in school on the 12th April. Thank you for your ongoing support.
