If you are unable to provide one, please could you inform your child’s class teacher by Friday, so we can make alternative arrangements. If you can provide more than one, we would be very grateful.
Thank you for your continued support.
We are very pleased to welcome to Miss Elena Lewis who has joined us at Bedwas Junior School in the role of School Clerk. Everyone in the school would like to thank Mrs Enright who provided excellent cover in the interim.

There is a large amount of lost property, this will be displayed on the school stage after school. Feel free to come in and have a look for any missing jumpers and cardigans etc.
On Friday, children are welcome to come to school in their pyjamas to raise money for Children in Need. A voluntary donation of £1.00 for taking part in the day would be gratefully accepted.
Whilst children are coming to school in their pyjamas, please make sure your child still has appropriate footwear and a coat appropriate for the current weather we are having.
We are continuing with our Active Journeys again this year and so we will be holding another ‘Be Bright Day’ on Friday 22nd November where all pupils are encouraged to wear their brightest/most reflective clothing to promote safety when walking/cycling to and from school. Linked to our ‘Be Bright Day’ the children will also take part in a street design competition that will be taught through our PSE lessons. The winners of the competition will be announced in our ‘Be Bright Day’ assembly on the 22nd.
A polite reminder that brass lessons are held on Fridays. Please could instrumentalists ensure they bring their instruments to school.
